i found this what is it?

i thought it was somthing for the sas but there is nothing on the other side??

The plastic plug covers access holes to the frame. You pop those out when you want to spray undercoating inside the frame rails. Not a bad idea if you live in a salt area or like to go mudding.

Keep that plug in there, I don't even want to imagine how many toy frames have died from that plug being gone....Rust is not your friend.

My guess is it would trap water and gunk and speed up the rusting process.

That foam won't seal water perfectly. Therefore water WILL get in there and SIT on the metal with no chance of drying basically and will speed up the rusting process.

I've seen people use that crap on boats(worked in a boatyard) and we pull out the foam after the boats been sitting in the yard shrink wrapped for like a summer or w/e and there will be all kinds of mildew and water crap behind it.

I know its not exactly environmentally but you could squirt a little oil in there or wd40 and then PUT THE PLUG BACK IN!!
