Water Pump

I'm a newbie to Toyotas. I just bought an 86 pickup with the EFI and turbo..mostly in parts. I put on a new water pump and noticed a hole about 1/2 in wide to the left of the shaft. Does a bolt go there of some kind of hose. The manual I have doesn't show it. Any ideas?

most of the bolts are smaller 8mm bolts (10mm head size) the bigger hole i think you are referring to is a hole for a longer 10mm bolt (12 mm head size). it goes thru the pump and timing cover and bolts to the block

From: Cincinnati, Ohio - Amelia is the exact place. There is no one else on this site from where I am. Seems like everyone is from Cali or Washington. I guess I need to move.
I dont think anything goes there, I noticed that to but there is nothing in the FSM or Haynes for it, and its not threaded for a bold (from what I remember), there is a longer bolt that goes throught the middle, but I just got my new rebuild running and nothing (green) is coming out of it, thank god. Its nothin to worry about. No hose goes to it, I can tell you that for sure.
