water in oil

Hi my names Bryan.I bought my buddies 94 Toyota truck .It has the five-speed and the four cylinder motor .he sold it to me because it had a bad head gasket .we work together so we tore it all apart and put the head in the shop .it cost $125 and The Machinist asked what happened to the truck and Roger told him that we had water in the oil .he suggested I look at the timing cover so I brought it to him for him to look at .I bought another timing cover and the timing chains and gears .and the guides.we started to put it all back together and it worked great .Roger took it off for a test drive and came back in about 5 minutes .the truck started idling and running really bad .we shut it off and check the oil and there was water all in it .it never overheated it stayed right in the middle of the gauge .now we have to tear it apart again .any suggestions

I have oil in my radiator. I’ve been trying to figure it out since last Friday. See my post https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116/i-have-engine-oil-my-radiator-276861/ I just got off the phone with Adam’s machine shop. They said the head gasket appears to be perfect and did pressure testing on the head. They found NO problems. There goes $45.00 and I still have no idea what has caused it.
In your case, I think you should do an engine compression test. This could find the problem. If all readings are normal then get a stant pressure tester and pressurize the cooling system. This may find it also.
Good Luck,
Todd

Yesterday i took the timing cover off the front of my engine, I found that the timing chain had ALMOST worn a hole though it, right into the water pump impeller area. NOTE - I said ALMOST. If this would have happened then water would have leaked into the timing chain cover area and right down into the oil pan. Pull the water pump off and look in the impeller area and see if you see anything unusual. I noticed a thin line running from top to bottom on the impeller side which just happened to line up with the grove on the timing chain side of the timing chain cover. Good luck. Todd
