W56 output shaft in an R150f...possible?

I am about to aquire an R150f to swap out my A/T. I have a W56 with the attached RF1A t-case, the W56 needs a rebuild, and won't mate to the 3VZe anyhow.
I would like to get the gear driven RF1A transfer case mated to the R150 using an adapter, that part is easy.
HOWEVER, i understand that the W series output shafts are 21 spline and the R series are 23 spline. so to make this work i would need an additional $140 output shaft from a vender.
Is it possible to take the output shaft from the W56, and install it in the R150 to save a few bucks?

Any one try this?

Thanks

no that is not possible however if you want you can cut the different couplers and weld them together not suggested though.
