My truck is a 1990 pickup 2wd with a 22re that was swapped in and a w46 manual transmission. Truck has 197k miles on it and my problem is that the transmission won’t shift at all. I currently have the transmission off but it still won’t go in a gear. Is that normal or is there something wrong. It was working fine before the engine swap.
can the fact that it has no oil be the reason?
don’t transmission normally go in gear even if the car is off?
please help!! I would greatly appreciate it.
p.s. Don’t know what engine was in it before. I do didn’t do the swap myself I just purchased it 2 days ago for 200$
