Engine Swap?
I have a 91 pickup 4x4 manual trans. I love the truck but have had countless issues with the head gaskets. truck only has 130K and engine has blown once, rebuilt and twice now the heads have gone to ˟˟˟˟e. Should i swap in a different engine like the newer 4litre v6 or just have engine rebuilt again and make sure the block inst warped? Any advise would be awesome.
thanks

3.4l engine is an excellent swap .. and can even be supercharged . My shop does it often
you can see some of our swaps in the vendor section .
there is also an exellent swap/help area here on this forum

If you're looking to do an engine swap you might want to look into the 3.4. Tons of info here about what's involved. The good thing about this swap is it pretty much bolts up with minimal mechanical fabing. The electrical can get rather deep but you'll likely have that with any other engine swap.
If you think the swap might be more than you can handle you can get someone like Slacker to swap one in and have a reliable rig
