no the shaft to the 4.7 but when just the front case is engaged all that torque is being applied to that shaft so it puts alot of stress on it

Yea but its just putting normal stresses as a factory setup. The last output shaft is where the hurt is applied.

I have a question for my fellow yotatech friends. so my tranny has lost 3rd gear 3x now first time I had a shop rebuild the tranny for me then last dec it went out again and I tore it apart myself with a buddy to see the shift fork went bad replaced that was good up until a month ago and now it won't go into 3rd gear in any low ranges and I have to baby it to get it to stay in in hi range. You think a bearing or shaft?

How my truck sits while it awaits its new 5.29 gears. Which is just in time because snow wheeling season is coming upon us soon!

Nah I need to change my sig I doubt ill go zip lockers probably either spool up from if the lock right breaks or maybe a Yukon grizzly air lockers are over rated and not needed for crawling just need hydro assist or full hydro I feel the only time you really need something u can disengage is if you rock racing or in crawling competitions and that's only really so you can run cutter brakes.

Ya just wondering seeing how its apart now. I think I'm gonna spool the rear of my truck and maybe Detroit or something the front. I still haven't decided. I'm a ways out still from even being driving again so I'm open both till I have extra money. Or maybe I'll Lincoln locker it.
