Valve Ticking

Valve Ticking
Hey guys I have done a lot of work diesel motors and old chevy's but nothing on these toyota so take it easy on me. I bought a little 88 pickup with a 22re that was rebuilt 40 thousand miles ago. This truck is maintained great and has a ton of receipts for everything done to it. Problem I have is a valve tick at the furthest back cylinder I believe intake valve, sounds kinda like a cummins that needs adjusting. Are these valves pretty easy to adjust? Does anyone have a procedure for me? Anything else it could be?
Thanks everyone for your time,
Mike

pretty common adjustment here. easy too, just like doing a SBC. a small search for a down-loadable FSM (plenty of links posted here) will net you the specs and how to do it.

Its super easy to do. takes about 30 minutes on the first time doing it. Search here man. Procedures have been mentioned many times before.
BUT!! If it still ticks, don;t get discouraged. These motors tick a lot, even with the valve lash in spec. The injectors are loud and the valves are loud.
And welcome to the addiction

Alright guys sounds easy enough ill update back later tonight hopefully! I love this little truck I got 27 mpg on the way back from buying it with a canopy on. I need to replace a cv joint for the 4wd but other than that it should be great!
