valve gurgle?

valve gurgle?
as some of you know i have been trying to clean-up my intake system and ran into a few snags. (sheared bolt nightmares, broke a $85 VSV and more...) i have now put everything back together and there is a mean gurgling sound coming from what i think may be my valves on the passenger side.
could the timing on that head be out a smidge causing that sound?
i havent taken it for a drive yet, but when i rev the motor the sound goes away at higher rpm's.
thanks

i dtermined that its def not timing and that my gaskets are all good. so i began trying different arrangements of the vac hoses that spagetti the pass. side of the plenum. i managed to clear up the gurgling sound but its still not running quite right.
anyone have a diagram of the vac hose arangement?

yes. i tried some different arrangements to test whether that was the problem and wouldnt you know it, it seems it was. i had thought that id returned all the vac hoses to their orig. locations after i put the top end back together.
in heinsight i should have labeled them as i removed them.... another lesson learned the hard way.

lol. Better look at the vacuum diagram. I would have posted the picture myself, but for some reason I can't access my Photobucket page

my apologies. turns out i forgot to connect the main vacuum line to the pair reed valve and thats what was causing the noise. i'll tell you one thing, its a lot easier to connect when the plenum isn't bolted down.
cheers for all the trouble shooting help boys!
