Value of 1987 Pre-runner

We are getting ready to sell our 1987 Toyota Pickup. We have no idea what it's worth. It has 150,000 miles, manual transmission, has a lot of body rust. Will need work (such as the parking brake light remains on, even though it's not engaged). The truck runs. We are the 2nd owner and have had it for 29 years. I've never posted in a forum before, so sorry if this isn't the way to do it.

If it's mechanically good for the most part, I'd say it's a $2,000 to $3,000 truck depending on area. Rust is very ugly and amplified by the white paint, but really not anything unusual for these trucks. Truck appears complete, and unmolested which is good. Interior looks complete and clean. Miles aren't too high.

Thank you so much for the feedback, we were thinking around $2,500 so looks like we are right in the ballpark for what we need to list it as. Thanks!

The show stopper for me is the cab damage and rust at this point, could get expensive fast and that's a pita place to repair in both counts.

Yes, a few years back we went to body shop to get a quote for repair of rust and paint job. They said they would recommend just taking off the bed and putting a flat bed on it...we didn't really want to do that so left it as is.
