Valence Substitution Suggestions???

Keep in mind, I'm 2wd, so I'll be keeping the stock bumper (no winch, etc.). Don't care for the look of just running without it, and don't want to pay for another paper-thin one that'll be trashed easily. So...

Ideas?

build one, one that is supported and thicker. Integrated fog lights could be put in a custom made valance.

Is the 2WD 2nd Gen 4Rnr valance the same as '89-'95 2WD truck valance? If so, used replacements are plentiful, and should be cheap.

Uhhhhh.... Did YOU not read what the OP said...????? "Don't care for the look of just running without it, and don't want to pay for another paper-thin one that'll be trashed easily."

So, he ...doesn't want "to pay" for another... I suggested a way to pay less (or nothing).

Something wrong with that? Jeez!

I don't think the OEM piece is that flimsy, but I trimmed mine for tire approach clearance but left it full length to cover the radiator. Reproductions are available on eBay cheap.

To actually MAKE one would be nice, but all the pieces I've seen are more function-vs-form, and are made out of ¼" sheet steel.
