vacuum line? identification

Anyone recognize this vacuum line or what it is and where it may run too? Found it just hanging around near the firewall. Here's two photos of it and where its coming from.

Thanks

any spot where you can find after the throttle body. The CC just needs to sense the vacuum load of the engine.

Not quite; the engine vacuum just powers the throttle actuator of the cruise control. It doesn't "sense" anything through the vacuum. So the cruise control just needs to connect to any port on the plenum, all of which is "after" the throttle plate.

I agree with the substantive part of dark_fairytales' answer.
