Vacuum help
Can someone please tell me where this vacuum line runs to. I have been all over the internet and cannot find a diagram showing where this goes. 3.0 V6

It should be fine if you cap it, though i have a manual transmission. An automatic might need a vacuum line.

The nipple you circled provides vacuum to the evap cannister through the TVV (Thermal Vacuum Valve, or Bi-Metallic Switching valve). The line on the left side of your photo is almost certainly that line. The nipple you have that line connected to is blocked from the factory. So you need to move the left vacuum line to the nipple you circled, and block the nipple it came from.
If you look at nvrunner's photo, his is set up that way.
PS: Your hoses are pretty degraded. I'm happy to keep mine with the fancy factory marking, but you can replace yours with off-the-shelf vacuum tubing. You don't need fancy silicone hose unless style points are important to you.
