Vaccum help

I have a small canister next to the charcoal filter that has 2 vacuum lines coming from it. Cant seem to figure out where they go. 1 of them is hooked up, the other one i had to disconnect doing the head gasket job. I have a 94 22re auto, any help is appreciated

Generally... one of the lines comes from the intake manifold for vacuum. The other heads off to control what it controls.

Where is the lined that is connected... connected?

A pic might help others determines exactley which VSV you are referring to.

Others may chime in, but most of those VSV just need a vacuum source.... any source. So, if you multiple open ports on your intake, pick any one that will fit.

Of course, make sure any open ports that are left open when you are done doing what you are doing are all plugged or you'll have a vacuum leak causing problems.

I don't know the 4CYL motor as well, but it looks like a coolant passage to me... which would most likely require a gasket or gasket material (RTV).

What year engine?

Try this link...
http://personal.utulsa.edu/~nathan-buchanan/93fsm/

There are a lots of exploded engine diagrams there that will show gaskets and O-rings.
