Unable to find part.

Hello and morning to you all. I've got a 95 4runner with a V6, standard tranny, 4x4. I've got an issue in my drivetrain, my transfer case blew out and believe it or not I've looked all over the place and have been unable to find a part in good condition for not too high of a price that's not going to cost an arm and a leg to ship.
I need this vehicle, or a vehicle to get back and forth to work and my doctor's appointments. I don't know where to turn now since I've exhausted all resources in my area. I can't afford a new one or even a rebuilt one. Thank you very much for your time and your ears. God bless you all and have a great day. Sincerely, George, desperately seeking Toyota part..

Sorry to hear that George, I don`t know anything about the later models, like yours, not sure if that transfer case is the same as the gear driven case in trucks like my 1988. When you say it blew out, are you looking for internal transfer case parts to repair it or are you looking for an entire transfer case to swap in?

Thank you for replying, I'm not sure if yours would swap out with mine. The only difference is mine is chain driven. And yes, I'm looking to swap it out, when I say it blew out, it did just exactly that. The case cracked all the way around it.
IVe heard a couple people say this t.r.ansferc case is supposed to be bulletproof. But I think they must be mistaken. I live in saguache Colorado.
Thank you again, George.

There's some pull-your-part wrecking yards in Colorado, but the ones I'm familiar with are in the Denver area, and they currently don't have any 4Runners on ground. You can load their app, and set it so they will alert you when one does.
Another option is scouring Craigslist for someone parting one out. In either scenario you could be waiting awhile.
The last option is eBay. I saw a few used ones on there for cheap, but I didn't check shipping.
Toyota transfer cases rarely needed work. Bullet proof might be a stretch, but they were incredibly reliable.

If it were a used transmission i'd highly encourage the person to disassemble and put new bearings in before installing. The transfer case is a bit different. I'd flush with solvent and see what drains out, and if it looks ok you could probably take the gamble and just fill with oil and install.

Good advice Jimkola. George, check car-part.com, it is like a junkyard part lookup.

Thank you both very much. I might've gotten lucky and found a complete vehicle a couple hours away that should work. I wasn't sure how this would work looking for parts here, but I couldn't have gone to a better place.
Keep on 4running and off road safely. Thanks again another satisfied Toyota owner. By the way mine has 370,000 miles on it and the motor still purrs.
