here, i got tones more.
to be honest, when i figured out it was my timing chain that needed to be replaced.. it was such a daunting task... now that i look at it.. its pretty easy even for a basic mechanic like me. Can you believe i had to pay 30$ for that Toyota fipg.....

nope not yet, i just found out what to remove to lower the diff so i can gain some clearance to remove the oil pan.. then i can get the timing chain cover off. trust me, il have tones of pics.. i already have 100 or so..

oh alright. no worries. Im just curious as to what it looks like without the cover on.
hm...idk if its good or bad I was just stating it I'm pretty sure its okay. if they are the original, think how long that have been in hot engine oil for

ugh i know, sorry about that.
if you save the pic, you can view it with white background..
hey abe.. your very smart so il ask you this. One of the bolts broke from the water pump from the P/O. Should i risk it and run it without that bolt after i button everything up? Because i know no toyota's are gonna have that part in stock and they are closed sundays so il have to wait till monday and that wont work.
So is it a dumb choice to go without it?

I wouldn't risk it. You should be able to find a replacement bolt or stud fairly easily... auto parts store, home improvement store.

no luck, i figure itll be okay until i can get one in.. il just put some rtv on it

set tdc, tommorw i pull everything with my buddy. man i never woulda though so much plastic was in my oil pump!!!! so glad i dropped it..
kidna not looking forward to putting the diff back up/in lol.

oh yeah i totally love the black vc.. i think it was a nice little feature to do haha. im crosing my fingers that my head hasnt been done and i dont have to mill my cover....

stupid P/O put the cam sprocket on backwards so the dot was inside...
