Loosen up the brake adjuster, and tap all around the drum with a hammer. Or put a large standard screwdriver between the drum and the backing plate, and twist it/pry back and forth some to get the drum to move.....

no i checked it, its off, i banned with a hammer, tried the threading through with bolts, and tried to loosen the brake from the back, and nothing, also tried hitting with brake cleaner, nothing
so im going to get a "free brake inspection" tomorrow, let them deal with it.

About 2 weeks after I first picked up my 91 the brakes started feeling REALLY soft, then I noticed fluid on the inside of my rear tires, and sure enough I was low on brake fluid.
So I go to tear into the job so replace the wheel cylinders and everything else in there, and when I went to remove mine, they would wiggle a little, but absolutely WOULD NOT come off. Screwed with it for 2 hours before thinking of letting slack out of the adjustment through the backing plate, and after fiddling with that for another 30 minutes, I managed to pry the things off. They were the original drums on the truck with 285k miles on them, and they had worn a groove so deep in them, that I'm convinced they would have ate through in the next 5 or 6 thousand miles... there was very little metal left...
needless to say, it also got new drums then too...
