Exclamation Two Braking Problems!

Ok, When I go to brake hard the truck wants to go to the right real bad so I have to fight it, I just took the caliper off a few days ago to do a cv boot service, I bleed it and it still brakes to the right, o yea, I bleed the driver side if that helps any, could it be alignment, second question, when I go to apply pressure on the pedal it starts to brake gently then when I get to a certain point the brakes grab real hard it gets real annoying sometimes, if anyone could tell me how to do allignment also that would be great, its a 94 toyota pickup 22re, if that info is needed, any adive would help, thanks.

sound like your second problem could be due to the sticking caliper too, when your push the brakes hard enough that caliper might come unstuck and lock donw on that rotor. try cleanin the caliper and then bleed all the brakes

or a kinked brake line on the left side, not allowing pressure to the caliper. check the soft hoses especially.

aligments are best left to shops with the equipment. There is a thread around here somewhere. use the search up top to find it.

i have found it is best after doing the calipers is to take the truck on a gravel road less stress on the tires and gives a vibration and lets one brake stop while the truck can still travle a few more feet for the other to catch.

at least it has worked for me.
