Turbo vs Non Turbo AFM

Is there a difference between the turbo and non turbo air flow meter for a 1986 truck? The tests for both seem to be the same but I need to know if a non turbo maf can be run in a turbo truck or vise versa?

i replaced a turbo motor with a non turbo motor and reused the afm ,computer and other components without problems. try looking the two parts up and see if the part numbers are the same.

My 86 FSM gives only one test procedure and one set of resistance values for an AFM. It doesn't differentiate between turbo and non turbo. I got rid of my non turbo AFM when I did the 5m-ge conversion in my 86 pick-up, so I can't check that #, but my 86 turbo AFM is Toyota # 22250-35040 (Denso # 197100-2670).

They're the same AFM. Surprisingly Toyota didn't bother to up-size the AFM on the turbo motor.
