Plug wires for the 1990 T4r auto 4x4 and advised the I can expect the item between Dec.19, 2019 and Feb. 3, 2020. Curious if any member has purchased replacement that is equal to the quality of the Toyota set?
Why would anyone wait 1 to 3 MONTHS for a plug wire set? OEM Denso wire sets are available all over the web & usually for less $ than dealership prices. Besides the OEM Denso sets, I've had good luck with NGK & BOSCH. Same goes for spark plugs but I prefer the OEM Denso or NGK for those. I would use BOSCH plugs but they would be my 3rd choice, just personal preference. No need to buy the (usually) much more expensive 8mm wires either, the 7mm wires do just fine.
I prefer to shop with the local Toyota parts department in the event the kit is not correct for my application but a 6-8 week wait is a bit much. I went to the Yota Tech Vendor directory and can have a set of Denso, NGK ignition wires and or spark plugs within a week but currently have the order on hold pending return call from another Toyota part supplier, if no contact by mid a.m. intend following thru and place the order.
I thank U's all for the comments and suggestions!!
Local Toyota dealerships parts department can have a set of plug wires by Wednesday at $137, what a dilemma as I can get a set of Denso plug wires at $31, guess it is a matter of U get what you pay for?? Posting a brief item description from an alternative supplier seems to me a $100 difference is significant unless there is an issue with the Denso I am not aware of.
Appreciate comments!

Identical in fit, color, form, and performance to the original, factory-installed wire set, DENSO ignition wire sets fit right, look right, and work perfectly. Many replacement ignition wire sets are a disappointment: they require too much work to install and don't produce a quality job. DENSO First Time Fit® wire sets will put the enjoyment back into your weekend tune-up projects.
All-Silicone Wires:These ignition wires are SAE J2031 Class E rated, the highest quality wire used in the industry. These wires can withstand temperatures from -40° to 428° F and pass tests covering everything from electrical properties to shipi, Irinkage tAo chemical resistance and accelerated life testing.
Pre-cut to Exact Lengths:Each wire in the fset is pre-cut to exact length so the wire sets are ready to install right out of the box.
Identical OE End Caps:Designed to "click" into place for easy installation and a secure fit. This allows the installer to "feel and hear" that a solid connection has been made, even when the connection is in a difficult-to-see location.
Strong Connections:Through a patented process, the terminals are attached to provide an extremely strong connection ensuring the cable and boot will not separate during removal and installation.
Denso is the supplier of electrical parts to Toyota. The plug wire sets are the same, so I don't see any reason to spend an additional $100 just for the privilege of buying them from the dealership. They don't call them "stealerships" for nothing. If it's going to take a week I'd rather just find a reputable seller of them on Ebay (yes, they DO exist). Or some of your local parts house should have them in stock.
My NGK wires bought in 2012 from SparkPlugs.com for $39 had taken me to wild and beautiful places while shinier, fancier, newer trucks had been stuck between office and the mall - LOL

Denso is an electrical parts supplier for Toyota, but isn't the only one. Sumitomo, Yazaki, Koito, Stanley, Fujitsu 10, and Matsu˟˟˟˟a Electric Industrial Co., Ltd (Panasonic), maybe among others, are also electrical parts suppliers for Toyota too. Yazaki made many of the instrument clusters for our trucks, as well as some wiring and electrical connectors, as well as spark plug wires. Sumitomo supplied much of the wiring and connectors for our trucks, including spark plug wires. Koito supplied much of the exterior lighting (headlights, tail/brake/turn/reverse lights, etc.). Stanley (who is also a big lighting supplier for Honda) supplied a few brake lights as well on other Toyota models.
Toyota chose to use Sumitomo or Yazaki over Denso for their spark plug wires. I am not sure why. I think all of those brands listed above made great products and you can't go wrong with them, including Denso.
