Tricky Idle problem
Hello All.
I have a 93 SR5 Pickup 4x4 with the 3VZ-E.
Basically what is happening is once the engine is warm, not just at operating temp, but after its been at operating temp for awhile, the idle isn't consistent. I think I have figured out why, as you can see in the video its almost like the throttle cant seat all the way back to zero once everything expands from heat. I have lubricated everything I can see to no avail. its bad enough where you can see in the first flick of the throttle that its almost stuck. what's interesting is when it gets to this point, if I give it a little throttle the idle gets higher and higher, stopping around 1100, and also becomes slightly un-rhythmic. now as you can see when I put a little pressure on the assembly the throttle goes back to being where I want it. How can I go about fixing this so I stop wasting gas!
