I have been really easy on her just because I have been driving a good distance so no. But I wish I had a good story to tell lol

If the crack doesn't appear to affect anything structural, JB weld will keep the oil in. Just make sure the area you apply it to is totally clean of any oil. That means making sure no oil seeps through the crack while the JB weld is drying/curing.

I was thinking some jb weld but dont I have to stop the crack from running even further. I was thinking maybe to drill the crack to stop it. I dont want to be left on the road somewhere ya know.

Yes. That's the way to stop cracks from getting larger. My grandfather was a Navy pilot and he said this is what they did to stop cracks on planes. Drill a small hole at the end of the crack to keep it from spreading.

Wow thats pretty cool. Im in the glass industry and thats how we do it. But not sure it will cure the problem but its worth a shot. Because its been one thing after the other.

Out of curiosity, ya don't drill all the way through, right? I've heard of it done before, but I've never seen it in person.

keep in mind the crack started because of something. jb weld might delay future damage, but there already is damage. pulling the trans and having the case welded may be a better long term option.
Also, make sure you have all the bell housing bolts installed... I think there are 8 total- 4 large (two top, two bottom) and 4 smaller (two lower left and two lower right).

Thats what I'm thinking. I think I am going to pull the motor and the transmission. May have a great deal on a motor and transmission. Might just pull them both.

If you have another transmission to swap in, then that is the best choice. But I can assure you that if you didn't, JB weld with the correct prep work would hold oil just fine.
