I like moderate crawling and going fast. I felt too top heavy crawling with a bracket kit, and I knocked my alignment silly going fast. Fast riding also has a tendency to bend the a arm mounts, this is magnified by the leverage of a bracket kit. If you want to have good luck with your bracket kit, weld it together after a good alignment, then build struts from the bottom rear bracket up to the frame, and then still be careful.

If it is mostly street driven, you should be fine. I just noticed you were from california, and I know the mindset when it comes to dirt.

If this rig isn't your DD, just do a little bit at a time and everyday you will be that much closer to having that lift installed!

As long as you know what you're running and stay within the limits of your equipment you'll be fine with the IFS lift.

If you're smart enough to not go rockcrawling in a Camry, you're smart enough to not tackle something in your IFS truck that's beyond the limitations of that type of suspension.

try autoaccessory warehouse in san bernardino, about 40min from you,
they are always resonable in prices. Tell them Pablo sent you.
They could probably do it within a day. I used to work there and they just got a new installer that specializes in trucks and has had years of experience.

Thanks PabloA! I'll call em up today and see what they say... I've had quotes before, and they want waaaaay too much money to do it. I was quoted $650 at one point. That's just Freakin Nutz!!!

Shoot, $650 is a bargain compared to around here.

I went to a shop to ask about buying just a kit, and the guy quoted me $2000 to install a Procomp Stage 2 kit, which retails online for just over $900.

He was actually going to charge me a grand to install it.

Damb thats what I was told by trick trucks and then went into my friends shop friday night and was done sunday except for alignment and am glad i did it myself not because i saved a grand but because i know what to look for if something seems out on it

Yeah I don't get it either why shops charge so damn much. I mean, I know about the concept of labor and all... but come on now!!! No disrespect to them, but it's not like it's rocket science and all. lol. Sometimes I think I'm in the wrong business...

sorry i cant come out and help, maybe after this quarter is over if you still havent done it. this quarter is killing me and i have my own stuff on my truck to fix now because i went too fast
