Toyota Parts

i'm in a bind a need some direction, My no means am i a mechanic, but i do what i can.
i have an 89 2wd standard cab short bed Toyota pickup. 22RE, 5 spd.
Went to replace the fuel pump and the fuel pump hanger is badly rusted, the fuel level unit is rusted as well.
With that being said, pretty sure there is a good amount of rust sitting in the bottom of the tank.
Anyone know of places to get these parts without taking an arm or leg?

Welcome, you should introduce yourself on offtopic/intro page. Oh and we'll want picks.

I replaced fuel bracket a couple years ago. Think I used Ebay. Found a Denso pump on Amazon. Better thoroughly inspect inside of tank. My fuel lines looked 30y/o so i replaced them with DIY braided stainless steel, sourcing adaptors to mate AN-6 to metric took a little google-fu but they are out there, totaled $68 for line, adaptor, and fittings vts $300 plus for yota fuel lines. Denso pump $99. Bracket was under $150.

But don't go nuts; this isn't THAT much cheaper than a dealer:

Welcome to the forum!

Try www.toyotapartsdeal.com as well. OEM parts at great prices.

"89 Toyota PU 2wd 22re stock"
Nice, David. Manual or auto transmission also matters a lot when troubleshooting.

For all parts, you just work your way through the dealer site I cited:
https://parts.lakelandtoyota.com/showAssembly.aspx?ukey_assembly=497351&ukey_make=1 060&ukey_model=15426&modelYear=1989&ukey_category= 21647&ukey_driveLine=6703&ukey_trimLevel=18292 (okay, the sender is little harder to find, it's under "Entertainment." Go figure.)

For the sender, it matters exactly which model you have. A phone call to the dealer wouldn't hurt.

Once you find the OEM part, you can just google the part number, and you'd be surprised what comes up. Including: more EXPENSIVE on eBay than at the dealer. Shop carefully.
