torsion bar adjuster bolts & Nuts

Does anyone have a lead on the torsion bar adjuster bolts for my 1986 1 ton 2WD pickup. I have searched all over the net. Most of the forum post are too old and the parts are no longer stocked. Mine must be stripped as the bolt just turns.
Thanks.

I would give Toyota a try for those parts. If not your best bet it to fine a bolt of same size/ thread. Go for the strongest you can buy. There is a lot of tension on that bolt. There should be 2 nuts on the top of the bolt I believe, One is small, this is the lock nut, and one is big.

Good luck with that. 90101-12104 has been discontinued.

I got the adjuster bolt and nut from my local Toyota dealership in Canada for my 90' 4runner. Not sure if they're the same part but the #'s are 9010112159 for the bolt and 9017912074 for the nut. About $17 each for the bolt and $8 each for the nuts lol

If you go to the site I cited and plug in that part #, there is a link for "What This Fits." https://parts.lakelandtoyota.com/p/_...010112159.html It says the earliest vehicle it fits is 1988.

It might work. But Toyota says it won't.

Thanks.
The bolt will just turn if the nut at the top is frozen. With the weight off the front end, confirm you can loosen the lock nut and the larger nut.

Sorry to bump such an old tread but i am in the same situation as the poster. The adjuster bolts for my 1986 4Runner are also discontinued. Has anyone found a solution? I think I found other commenters say to just use the bolts for the 88 but then the bolt sleeve would not fit into the adjuster "sled" (sorry just made that term up) Doers this matter?
Are the bolts at least the same length? I thought I found a comparison photo somewhere but can't seem to find it now.

PS: I may have mis spoken. you can still find the parts but it looks like they ship from Japan by way of the Arab Emirates before coming the the US. Only close to $60 shipping Ha Ha Ha

I think they are the same for 1st and 2nd gen's. I have a few of the TB bolt and nut and the lengths and threads appear to be the same.

Thank you so much for the reply. I just order the bolts for the 88 and the nuts from the 86. Hopefully all will go well.
