tires??

so i was thinking about getting new wheels and tires for my 4runner sooner or later...probably later but i was just thinking about getting some black rockcrawler wheels probably 15x10 and mounting some 32 or 33" x 11.50tires but i wasnt sure which tire would be best for a daily driver/sometimes weekend warrior. the tires...from what i have read that wouldnt be too bad are the bfg mud terrains or the super swamper tsl ssr's any suggestions? .....other than get my car running first josef

If my driving was say, 80 on road and 20 offroad and I wasn't planning on a regear, I think if I could do it again I'd get 31's...

The 32's I put on my truck make it really painful to drive on the street due to killing the acceleration.

If you're going to regear, 33's will be perfect for both.

yeah with 4.10's and a m/t I would go with 31's unless you were going to re gear. I dont really have any issues on flat terrain, but up hills you cant really get any acceleration going without downshifting, and even then it doesen't accelerate like it ought to.

If I were you, I'd get 15x8's, not 10's. A 15x10 is too wide for even a 33x12.50 imo, and DEFINITELY too wide for an 11.50 or 10.50 tire.

Of course, it could be the look you're aiming for, I don't know I say 15x8's

I agree, it's too wide. It looks really dumb to see a WIDE rim and a skinnny little tire on it. tire needs to be at least 2" wider than the rim
