Timing issue

So helping a friend on his 86' pickup. When he brought it to me it was in pieces as it needed a head gasket. He asked for my help after he realized he didn't get the motor at TDC on #1 when he took it off. He put #1 at TDC before the head was put back on, then decided to bring it to me. I did not realize he moved the crank after he pulled the head and now that I have put it back together have realized that cam timing is off from the crank. Any hints/tips to get the cam timing correct?

Thanks in advance.
