Timing chain and ignition timing
Hello, new member here. I had a bad camshaft seal leak so I replaced the seal. I lined up the cam gears with the crank shaft pointing at 12 o'clock and 0 respectively but, now it has no power or acceleration. It starts fine and idles really low but doesn't stall ( probably around 6krpm).
**This is an 89 pickup 4x4 with a 3vze **
1. Do I need to pull this appart again and redo timing belt?
2. Or do i need to just adjust ignition timing?
3. If i do have to pull it apart is there a way to just take the platic timing cover off without pulling the fan and pulleys?
Any help will be appreciated

Update
Got it fixed!
Bought a 30 dollar timing light at harbor freight and set the timing to (10) runs great.
To set timing
1. Warm up truck
2. put a wire or paperclip on (te1 and e1)
3. Connect timing light to battery and clip cylinder 1 plug wire, facing sparkplug 1 ( there's an arrow on the clip)
4. loosen distributor cap bolt with 12mm
5. Twist cap till crank pulley lines up with (10ish). Then tighten the bolt back down. 👍🏼
