Timing belt questions

I have a couple of questions regarding the timing belt on my '94 Runer with a 3.slow. First off, does my motor have interference heads? I have tried to figure it out but have heard both. Is there a way to check if my belt needs to be replaced without fully dissesembling the whole friggin thing. Since I have no idea when the last time the guy I bought it from, and if I have interference heads I deffinatley want to get it changed, if not I can focus my money elsewhere. Thanks.

Non-interference. You may be able to take the upper cover loose and get a peak.
