I know we've ventured away from the original thread pupose
, but please, if it's just your daily driver and you care about the longevity of your Toyota, DO NOT adjust them just to get a few inches of lift...
I speak from experience. When I first bought my 91 it was bone stock. My first oil change, I look at those adjuster bolts and thought, "Well well, I've got a wrench that'll fit those!". I cranked them as far as they would go, threw a set of cheap shackles under the back to level it out, and I was ride'n pretty and high, grinnin from ear to ear... for the first 2 weeks or so... then the STUPIDLY stiff ride got to me, DESTROYED my tires because it just completely annihilated the alignment, and both of my CV axles have shreaded boots (although that really wouldn't have happened if a hub hadn't have failed and stayed locked for 8 months
).
I have since loosened them WAAAAYYY down, not quite back to stock, but enough to get a comfortable ride, and so my old tires don't quite wear so quickly.
I've already got BJ-spacers sitting here at my house to install, and when they get thrown on, I'll loosen them a little more, put some taller springs in the back to level things out, and let's not forget, get a proper alignment

I'd be willing to bet you can pick one up at any parts store... they're all just about the same...
I completely removed my front sway bar today
depending on how you drive your truck, maybe you could do the same?I'm not recommending it or saying go do it, I'm just throwing the option out there...

probably the best thing would be to drill and tap it to the next larger size bolt. there isn't any easy access to those areas in the frame. you might even consider just going to a sae fasterner (non-metric) so you don't have to drill too much out.

IIRC, scuba's 91 has dual nuts on the adjuster bolt... (no way to make that sound 'clean')
