Thud in front end after OME stabiliser and idler arm.

I've got a new sound out of the front end of my 92 4Runner after some work.

I put in an Old Man Emu steering stabiliser and new idler arm. I also tightened my steering box.

After I started getting a thud in a corner. Seems more often in a right turn but can't see anything obvious.

I would like some ideas on the culprit as I go on a big trip soon. The stabiliser is a lot bigger than stock. Could it be binding? Anyone else have one in?

Where else should I look to narrow down the search?

Thanks

For what it's worth, I got the full OME lift kit on my '86 and have never had any problems with the stabilizer bar. Sorry, no help.

Does it make this noise when backing up?

I have the OME stabilizer and don't have any issues on my 95. Get under the truck and have someone turn the wheel and just watch it to be sure. I doubt that is the problem though.

What do you think could cause it? We went under and turned the wheels but could not see anything obvious.

It only happens when driving. I suppose it needs some force to make it happen. It sounds like a hollow thud.

I really hope it's not a bad ball joint.......

So to check my balljoint I need to get the front on jackstands and jack up the lower control arm and give it a wiggle? How can I tell if it's the upper or lower?

Bump for more ideas. My buddy is at my house having a look. I work at a mine site and have a trip two days after I get home. Any parts I might need will need to be ordered asap to not delay my arctic expedition.
