Throttle Body.. hoods up.. need help.

Ok, So I have got a second. I am trying to pull the throttle body and check the TPS and clean. I have removed the vac hoses, TPS plug, and bolts and nut. This thing is stuck on here, any removal tips? Also, while I am here is there anything else that needs checked/Tested in dealing with idle or acceleration?

If all the bolts are out use a BFH, the aluminum likes to stick to gaskets.

You can check the TPS without removing.

But if I need to adjust the TPS, is there a way I can get to the bottom screw?

Just bump it somewhere solid, it shouldn't take too much. Make sure you clean out all the little nooks and crannies inside that thing, and don't get the TPS wet. You can get to the TPS easier with the throttle body off.

Damn bottom screw... We had to drill it and tap it to get it out. Does anyone know what size screw should replace it? Is there any certain way the cap on the TPS goes back on? And is there anything else I need to check while it is off? Is there anyway to get the sludge out of the intake manifold?

Thanks
