throttle body 86 4runner

I finally started my truck last night and it ran for a good minute before it slowly started to die. I turned it off and started it again and it started to die quicker now it starts and dies instantly. I think it may be too a bad fuel filter but I'm also wondering about the vacuum lines I have a throttle body to a 22ret and everything else on my truck is for a 22re I know they are different but would it make a difference on how the truck runs?

It could but more likely a fuel filter problem unless for some reason the AFM switch is not keeping the Circuit opening relay coil energized to allow the fuel pump to run.

If you have a huge vacuum leak this could happen. Leaks or cracks in the air intake tube.

Why go with the 22RTEC throttle body was it all you could find??

How can I check that switch? I have a full 22ret motor in pieces and it's the throttle body off that one I could just use the one of my old engine. But if it doesn't make a difference then I won't.

Multimeter looking at the AFM plug removed pins 1 and 2 open with the flap closed closed with the flap fully open

I think my alternator is bad causing the engine to draw off only the battery and then not inject enough gas making it miss then it won't start again cause the battery is drained
