Thinking of losing the lc coils...

After having the landcruiser coils since January, I'm considering losing them for some OME coils. The ride's too soft and the truck leans like crazy. I like the extra clearance (~3" of lift compared to 1.5") but I can definitely feel the strain on the front end with bj spacers and t-bars cranked. So what i'm considering is dropping down to the OME hd coils in the rear with OME shocks all around, keeping the bj spacers, but uncranking them to where i've only got about .5-1" of lift over stock in the front. Will this relieve any tension on the front end (steering components particularly) and improve the ride quality enough that i'll be okay with the loss of lift? What do you guys think?

ome's are great. if you want more lift just call them and find out which model will give you 3 inches of lift.

I thought about that, but I decided I'd rather just keep things on the front as stock in geometry as possible. This is all kind of spurring from axleike's (i think thats who it was) thread on the the cheapest way to lift early ifs thread.

oh ya, then the 901's will be perfect for you. i've got about .5-1" cranked in with my 901's. make sure to get the HD's. they're not THAT stiff.

I think you should do it. I've seen others ditch their LC coils for the same reasons.
With BJ spacers....definitely put your T-bars back to stock level or relax them some. Consider adding an OME steering stabilizer too.

Yep, I already have one of those. I'm just having a small problem with the idea of having to spend that much money again, since I won't be able to sell the coils or shocks for very much. Will i still need the panhard bracket either?
