Thinking about changing my Air intake location

Lacking the money to put on a snorkel I'd thought about moving the location of the 95's air intake back closer to the firewall using the same process as ISR mod. What problems will I run in to?

hitting the brake master cylinder. It sticks out quite a ways, and is fairly close to the throttle body.

Why do you want to move it in the first place? If it's to get it higher for better fording, why not just go with a snorkle.

have you looked into some of the custom snorkles people have done around here? Some of those are pretty sick. Check out 4rnr, i believe, he's got a very nice one. AFAIK, he did his pretty cheap.
