independent front suspension
its a pretty good setup
i think up until 85 they put solid front axles in trucks
the solids have alot less parts so in a way their more stable

CV joint
is a constant velosity joint
it allows a rotating shaft to transmit power through a variable angle, at constant rotational speed, without an appreciable increase in friction or play

heres a start:
http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=459180
http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/

from here, many inquiries will arise, you'll find the answers, come up with new questions and the answers to those as well, and then the questions will be quite specific and quite less frequently inquired about.
