It is in a little box beside the fuses under the hood on the passenger side fender. You need to shore TE1 to E1. If the engine idle does not change when you do that then your TPS needs to be set up first. Do a search and you will find.

on the passenger side fender. Its a little black box infront of the fuse box. pull the cover off, and on the inside of the cover all the terminals are labeled. There should also be instructions on how to, and which terminals to short on the underside of your hood on a sticker.

I have heard of this a few times. My oldest truck is a 88. At some point the went from a plug, to a black box connector, to the black box on the passenger fender. EFI started in 84 I think and all the moving around stopped in 88. Weird....

Im trying to set the timing on my 1987 Toyota with a 22re but everytime that I disconnect the T terminal the whole truck shuts off. I was told that it might be a short. Does anyone have experience with setting the timing on a 22re that might be able to enlightened this poor fool?
