Talk me out of Air Lockers

Looking at getting ARB front and rear air lockers, are they worth the coin? Any big issues?

You won't find too many people complaining about them except maybe the cost because you need some form of 100% duty cycle OBA to run them IIRC. ARB has a nice dual piston pump for a cool 500$ish dollars to start you off, add in lockers at 800ish a pop and that's expensive without the work/gears.

With that being said, the harrop e-locker for the rear is about the same price as a single ARB and OBA setup (I think east coast gear supply had them for like 1500$). There are some articles on retrofitting other toyota e-lockers into our rear thirds (IE 3rd Gen) for something possibly a bit cheaper but requires more work on your end.

Honestly if you're at a point wheeling the truck where you are in need of a locker ARB isn't a bad way to go and should be on the top of your list.
