Tailgate window question ---easy one

I have been searching for several hours but have been unable to find what I'm looking for. I remember reading a one time that the tailgate motor is the same as one of the back doors. Can someone enlighten me on this. I thionk it is the drivers side rear but I'm not sure.
I just rebuilt the relay (god that was a bitch) but still no window movement just a click from the relay.

Make sure the rear wiper is seated, there is a switch there as well. That befuzzeled me for about a week before I figured it out. I ended up by passing the switch.

Thanks,
Tried that along with everything else. This has been an off and on problem for the last year. I was thinking of pulling the motor out of the side door and stick it in the tailgate, I just need to know which one before i pull it out.

Both left side doors are the same as the gate motor. Problem with the Gate motor is that it pushes 2x the weight as the doors, and wears out the plastic motor housing much faster than the door motors wear out, even tho its the same motor. early style (84-89) 4runners used a metal housing, and generally didn't have this problem.

You can also use most left side window motors out of similar year Toyotas (87-91 Camry, Corollas, Trucks, etc etc) by just changing the plugs.
