Tacoma bumper on a 89 ?

Tacoma bumper on a 89 ?
Will a 95-96 tacoma chrome rear bumper will work on a '89 pickup ?

Not with out mods. tacomas are 95 1/2 and newer and have diffrent frames. It wont fit with out modification i wouldnt think. I know i like the tacoma bumpers alot better than the older ones.

I may go check it out tomorrow and take some measurements, I found one new in the box chrome for $150. I may have to weld up some brackets.

What? I have one on my 89 right now without any modifications.

JamesD, do you happen to have any pics of the bumper mounted to the truck? In the market for one, and if this seems like a good option I might go with it
