Hi there I just noticed last night my tachometer on my 94' 4 runner is not working. When the engine is off it hangs strraight south. Looks broken but when I start my truck it goes to 0 but remains there. Is this a major thing to fix? Or is it easier to just get an external one n hook that up? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Does the tach needle ever jump or bounce?

 

Mine started dropping to 0 today when idle. Would bounce back. CEL also came on and went off. Second time the light has come on.
