t100 SAS

is there a toyota front axle that would come close to the track width of the rear axle of a t100? the SAS looks tempting but i wanna keep it all toyota. i know dana 44 and dana 60 are options but should i be looking for one of the land cruiser axles?

yeah ive seen a T100 here SAS'd with a FJZ80 axle, pretty sick. ive also seen one with a dana 44. frankly i think the dana 44 is a much easier option but if you can find a LC axle go for it

If you NEED a SAS on a big truck like a T100, you're gonna need D60's sooner or later ... may as well just do it right the first time.

what advantage would a D60 axle have over say an 85 pickup axle, with wheel spacers?
not trying to argue, just want to know.

Even with wheel spacers the 79-85 Axle would still be to narrow. Its only 55" wide and the rear t100 axle is 65". 10" is too much to make up with wheel spacers.

The 92-98 FJ80 Axle is a good option at around 62" wide and if you can find one with an e-locker it would be a bonus.

You can also look at Diamond Axles http://www.diamondaxle.com/front_steering.htm You can have a houseing made at any width with Toyota 3rd and outers or even Toyota 3rd and D44 or D60 outers.

Much bigger ring gear, lower gearing options, stock strength similar to Longfields and can be upgraded from there, HUGE aftermarket support ...
