Im trying to change the tranny filter in my 91 3.0 auto. and i cant figure out how to get the filler tube out of the pan. can anyone help me out here? i tried pulling it out like the haynes manual said and it aint happening and suggestions?

 

It doesn't come out of the pan, there is a joint/union about halfway up the tube. It separates there. Make sure you don't lose or tear the o-ring at the joint/union
