Sweet V6 '88 4runner for someone
Don't post often but use the forum as a reference for my trucks for way too long and it's been a ton of help, and I have too many projects/little money to jump on it....... Guy here locally has an '88 manual tranny 4runner V6 that looks in pretty damn good shape other than the engine being toast for $1200.

No mention if it's a 3vze, but most likely it is.
That engine may not be toast.
From what I read, (just speculation) the timing belt failed.
Non-Interference motor, shouldn't have bent valves
Unless the seller really doesn't know.

Wow. In my neck of the woods if you have a 29-yr old vehicle that doesn't run, you have to pay someone to haul it away. Not the other way around.
But as I've said, truck prices are very regional. Maybe there's a market in Colorado for non-running old trucks.
