I didn't think there was any difference except for the dual wheel setup? They are both 8inch. Except that it probebly has the 4 pinions in it. Why would you want to do this anyway?

the axle broke while driving down the freeway and took the hub with it came across this axle for cheap thought i'd see if it would work.. thanks

we need more info, are they both 2wd or 4wd? some of the 1 tons used a huge 6 lug bolt pattern, the dually ones.

well...

the 1 ton was 2wd dually mine is 4wd v6

I believe they have a funky lug pattern that isn't 6x5.5
