I just bought a 93 4runner and im planning on doing a suspension lift. I just bought 4" procomp coils and im going to buy the Prom comp ES1000 shocks...so now what i have to do is crank the front torsion bars and get the longer rear brake lines. Am i forgetting anything? Ive never done this so i need as much help as possible.. Also.. what size and type of tires should i go for with a 4" lift?? Does anybody know of any good deals for tires and/or rims?? thanks a bunch

do a search, but with 4" coils, you will be WAY A$$ hi... You will need a 4" front to match... if you search you will find what most people do... you can also look at my old 95...link is in my sig..

Just cranking the T-bars won't give you 4" of lift in the front. With 4" of lift I'd get at least 33's. If it were me, I'd get 35x10.5's.

You would really be pushing your bars to even get 1 1/2", and it would ride pretty rough. You would have your butt up in the air, and you would not be able to put much bigger tires up front (with travel that is). To even it out, you will need to lift the front along with the back.

You can fit 33x10.50 with NO lift and no rubbing ... take the money you saved on the lift and buy sliders, bumpers, etc. No matter how much lift you put on, there will always be bigger rocks that you need protection from.

I have the ES3000 shocks and like them quite a bit. IIRC, they're about the same price, maybe a little more than the 1000's but quite a step up in ride quality.
