Sunroof interchange
Has anyone used a sunroof from an 84-88 Truck/4Runner on an 89-95 Truck, or vise versa?
Only looking for a definitive answer, not "I think" or "Maybe, it might"
Anyone with any info as to why or why not would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

CONFIRMATION!!
84-95 sunroofs ARE interchangeable.
Had another yard try a 92 sunroof in an 87.
So here is the factual data:
84-95 FACTORY sunroofs are interchangeable.

I wasn't including the original question. So, if you think about it, only ten posts were made in response
.........not including the deleted one that I can only imagine would've added atleast a little suspense to the mystery. Oh, it's all cut and dry with CougarCakes. It's yes or no. No.....ehem...."genius" ideas of stimulating creativity. I bet if Swampthing had posted you wouldn't even need no factory glass. Sell out! Just remember........crap comes out of everyone. Just some have better toilets!!

wow ,no value added ok .... so i was only trying to get the questions clarified for me .since it seemed cougar wanted very specific replies I didnt want to post any info that had no value.
I have never installed a sunroof in a vehicle that doesnt have one .. Yet .
i have been doing research on this topic for about a month now, we will be installing a sunroof(saturn slides open over the top of the roof .) on the 88 4runner im doing a 1uz swap into right now (does not have moonroof currently)
from what i can find .
the 84 -88 runners and trucks have a moonroof (pop up ).
the 89-95 4runners have a sunroof .(slides open)
the glass on my 88 4runner moonroof measures 36 1/2 x 19 1/2 and pops up .
the glass on my 1994 4runner sunroof measures 35 5/8 x 23 1/2 and slides back .
