Suggestions for broken window?

I've had my '91 Pickup SR5 for a couple years, since I've owned the drivers side window hasnt worked right. It will roll down a few inches, then the control arm will pop out of the channel at the bottom of the glass. Eventually it will fall into the door, I've gotten extremely good at pulling the door panel off a bit at the bottom and getting everything back into place and then rolling it back up, but as the weather warms up I'm going to want to roll the window up and down as I drive and not have to get out to fix it all the time. Has anyone else had this problem and know of a good fix?

Not had the problem, but it sounds like something is bent up inside the door. You could try pulling out the guts and straightening it out yourself, or go to a pick n pull and pick up a replacement. If pulling the guts is too difficult, you could try replacing the whole door...

You can buy a new window regulator, or find a used one. If you're mechanical it will be an easy job.

Yeah my driver door regulator is shot too. It skips teeth like crazy when i crank it and i have to help it move with my other hand. The answer is to get a new regulator ($20 or $30 bucks maybe). I've been too lazy to do it but it's pretty easy once the door panel is off.
