sub install

Hey guys,
I got me 2 rockford fosgate punch subs and a 300 watt Crossfire amp. Spent all day yesterday putting them in ( it was my first time doing subs and amp ). heres a couple pics of the job. what do yall think?

That looks a lot like my setup but I have 3 10" subs in a box. Looks good. Make sure they are secured well, when I first got this box in a 4Runner I used to have I didn't secure it and sometimes wheeling it would lift a foot or so off the floor. Over the years I actually started to prefer my speakers pointing up instead of at the back of the seats. Just my experience.

the way i have my 6x9's in there they are wedged in so tight i dont think they will move.

Ok I was just throwing the idea out there. My box weighs close to 175 lbs with the subs in it and it still flew around like a ragdoll, but mine was also installed right up against the tail gate and I think the rear end sees a lot more bouncing than the rear seat area. Looks loud!

i can't really tell from your pics, but if you haven't done it already, you should face the subs towards the back of your 4runner instead of facing the back of the seats. the bass output should be increased when you do this.
