The 7mge and 7mgte will bolt to a w56 5 speed tranny that comes in some of the 4 cylinder trucks. I think you can use the same motor mounts as the 22RE too. Some of the Supras use a R154 tranny. You can built a "hybrid" tranny using R154 and R150/151 parts. Doing this allows you to bolt the front half of the Supra tranny to the 7mgte and the rear half to the R150/R151 transfer case. Best option, IMHO, would be to wait a bit for the guy on www.supracharged.com to finish making a custom bellhousing to mate the 7mgte and R150/R151. This would be the best set up I think. The R series transmissions are stronger than the W or G series trannys.

I don't know about the 2jz engines. Haven't really looked into their tranny options too much. I believe some of the 2jzge engines use the W58 tranny, so the w56 may work, but I dunno. The 2jzgte uses a V160 manual and I don't think there is a way to hook a transfer case to that unless you go with a divorced.

Just my $.02.

Jack, you can set up your user CP to send you emails whenever you get 1 or more replies to a thread you posted in. Heres what you do to activate the email notification:

1. Click on "user cp" on the upper left of the screen.
2. Click on "edit options".
3. Look down where it says "default thread subscription mode"
4. Click the down arrow on the drop down menu and select "instand email notification"
5. Click "save changes" at the very bottom of the page.

You will now get an email when a message has been replied too. You can also select some of the other options there like getting an email when your recieve a PM (private message--if activated.)

The tranny you have is a R150 and I don't know if that will bolt to any of the diesels. I doubt it. I honestly don't know much about the diesel swaps as I haven't looked into it much. I'm sure somebody esle will chip in. The www.toyotadieselmadness.com website should have an answer for that too.
